Faith that doesn't move your feet isn't faith — it's comfort. We chose to move.
Rise & Restore CAN is a grassroots, faith-driven community initiative serving Ottawa — turning compassion into action and connecting people in need with practical support, resources and hope.
Who we are
Love in Action
Seen. Valued.
Not forgotten.
Rejection can leave people feeling forgotten, unseen and without hope.
We believe giving someone hope is an act of love. It is reminding someone that they are still seen, still valued, and that their story is not over.
Jesus demonstrated a love that went beyond words. He met people where they were — with compassion, dignity and action. At Rise & Restore, we want to do the same.
Whether it is a meal, essential supplies, connecting someone with the right community resource, a conversation, or simply showing up when someone feels alone, we choose to make love visible.
"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
— 1 John 3:18
Because sometimes restoring hope begins with simply showing someone:
YOU HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN.
